AMC Bringing Loki To Television

Tom Hiddleston is no stranger to television in England, but the star in the States is best known as Marvel’s Loki, one of their most popular characters to date. AMC is picking up his and Hugh Laurie’s new six to eight-part miniseries.

The Night Manager will see Hiddleston play former British soldier Jonathan Pine, now a hotel night auditor, who is pitted against Laurie’s Richard Onslow Roper, a black market dealer. This is Hugh Laurie’s first television series since his run on House ended in 2012.

The series will be based on John le Carré’s 1993 novel of the same name.
